About Department

          Department of Environmental Sciencewas established in 2009 with Botany as Graduate course under the leadership of Asst. Prof. HarshaliDhanokar. Botany covers all aspects of the life of plants. It includes their structure and development, physiology and biochemistry, genetics as well as their relationships with the environment and other organisms.
The objective of the Department of Botany has been to impart quality education to students at, Department take initiative in green and clean campus.
Department emphasize on co-curricular activities for the students through arranging field visits, excursion tours and bird watching sessions. Extension activities such as wild life week celebration, Ozone day celebration, Worlds Sparrow day, Blood group detection, Hemoglobin checkup, Blood donation camp are run successfully by the department.
